It's the same bulb. I believe that it's a 9007

This is kind of off the subject, but do you guyz know if the yellow signal light next to the main headlight are interchangeable. This would be for a Jetta IV and I'm wondering if you could replace it with a blue city light.

That's your turn signal. Making it blue would make it um, ah, illegal
Go to http://www.fosmo.com and get a silvervision. At least that way it's still amber when it blinks.

Slow down for a second. The silvervision bulb from Phillips will only work in the Golfs and not the Jettas as once again the Jetta is a two filament bulb but they are only made in single filament so far.

Just to further clarify:
The Silver Visions are PY21W. They will not fit the U.S. Spec Jetta lights. They do fit the e-code Jetta lights.

I'm awaiting delivery of my '02 Jetta....isn't this info in the owners' manual?
