the "." in 2.0 malfuctioned after a few hours of highway windage

Soemone told me that there is a recall from the dealer for the 2.0s

hopefully to take out our 2.0 and stick some vr6's in there to make things all better

Bump....any info on this? Is it just the 2002 models or actually MKIII's?

That someone failed to mention that the recall covers Mk4 2.0L engines. I believe it only covers certain models produced in '00 and '01. It is a problem with the emission control system.
Our cars are not included in this recall.
