What is this wire? It was disconnected

Will reconnecting it gain me 25hp (at the wheels please, none of that crankshaft stuff) and 8 mpg

The bottom wire was disconnected...but I reattatched it. What does it do?

its a vacuum line. if your car was running rough at idle before, you may notice it is a little better or so i am told.

Ummm, it's a vacuum line. You need a Bentley manual.

I do have a Bentley. Thanks for the sarcasm.
A vacuum line that attatches to a "male" end connector?

one of those goes down to the flap that opens in the airbox to let hot air in. The other goes to a "T" which goes to your FPR and your intake manifold. don't remember which one is which though.
I ripped all that nonsense out.

if you are talking about the electric connecter in the top right. that is going to your MAF sensor. i don't think the car will run if its not hooked up. im not 100% sure tho.
