While they are getting scarce, there are still lots of 14x6 wheels out there (14x7's are a different story). Stock A1 GTI snowflakes are still pretty popular, and can be had for $50 - $200 / set, depending on condition. The one thing I will say, is stay away from teardrops, as they are very heavy, and don't flow air very well. Borbet has a couple of offerings in 14x6, and last I looked, TireRack was blowing them out (which means they may all be gone by now). Poke around at the local junkyards too, most 14" OEM alloys were 14x6, and just about all the 4-cyl FWD cars use 4x100 w/ an offset between 33 - 38.
