I am replacing the oil cooler o-ring, and I need to know the size of the nut holding it on as I do not have the appropriate sockets.
Thanks for the help!

Re: (youlostme21)

I tried an adjustable, there's no way that will work, there are hoses and lines all over, it would be much easier to use a socket, but I don't know the correct size of that nut...
anyone know for sure?

Just use a large adjustable wrench. Its easier to get at that way then wiht a socket, due to the radiator support being right there.

thats what i used a few weeks back, no room for a socket

honestly i used a socket,an extension, universal, and it was fine, i was in a 2.0aba dont know if this a vr or not... but yeah... make sure you don't damage the hollow shafter when you unscrew it off the housing good luck!
edit: you need a deep socket in order to get to it.... and it doesn't take much for to get it off
