my G60 did 14.9 at whatever mph it says in the sig...im waiting for some tranny work before hittin up the track to lower my #'s...expect 13's by the time the year is over
Re: What Times do you G'd up people run the 1/4 in (BLUE NRG)

my friends bunny w/ g-60 swap runs 13.9's on street tires at 98 mph w/ a 2.2 60 foot time (blowing tires off the whole way).
here is his setup
1990 Corrado G60 swap, charger has a mod 1 rebuild. the block has new rings, and bearings. cylinder head was re-done to stock specs. Autotech stage 3 kit, Eurosport intake kit, Saab 900 turbo inter-cooler top mounted w/ custom heat shield, jackson water system also added. Autotech boost check valve. ABD plug wires.
Exhaust:
Autotech tri-y header, Techtonics 2 1/4 stainless steel cat back w/ a Borla muffler
Transmission:
AGB code 16V trans w/ full rebuild. Quaife diff, HOR Technologies 3.94 ring and pinion, VW Motorsports bearings, seals, and syncros. stock 16v gear set.
he has since added some goodies (bigger injectors, different chip) since he last ran at the track, not sure if he is keeping the motor though. Might build up a 16v turbo and put that in, even though he just finished this one last summer b4 carlise. So if u went to carlise, it was there- the yellow rabbit no where near vw's, but in the wild section or whatever.

Do you run quite high intake temps then to warrent water injection what kind of reduction in the intake temps do you see with the water injection
Re: What Times do you G'd up people run the 1/4 in (LiamG40)

keep in mind im speaking for my friend here. His intercooler is mounted inside the engine bay(shielded off and hood vent right over). Obviously, the cooler the intake air, the better, to the throttle. When it got humid out here in the summer, his car would suck in the warm air as well. I know from watching him at the strip that he was pulling low 14's on street tires (traction a/temp b hockey pucks, lol) on 2.2 60 times. W/ the kit, and same/similar 60foot time, he knocked off 3/10ths. I know w/ better tires, car will be lower. I never seen so much wheel spin in 1st thru 3rd. I know he took temps of the ic b4 the water kit, and after the kit to compare, and noticed a good size drop. I think he may be picking up a perfect choice fiberglass front/rear bumper set to run a front mount i/c to get it out in the open more. I'll get back to you w/ exact temp drops as soon as i speak to him (prob later today) For now, here are some pics of the car when done, but b4 water kit/ bigger injectors.

ok, i got the details for yah. The kit is a spearco, not jackson, my bad. He said that it drops temp anywhere from 75 to 100.
