what tire pressure for 17 x 8's

what should I use for all around driving - whats the stock 17" half load suppose to be?

same as stock, 26 psi recommended.
You may want to run 30-32 or higher to protect those OZ's though

when i have my long beaches on i run 32 front, 37.5 rear

Tire PSI for 17x8

What tire profile do you have?
I would stick to the manufacturer recommended PSI.
PSI (F/R): 29/26
Cold inflation (first thing in the morning)!

I've stuck with 26 PSI for about 25,000 with no major wear problems. Then again I have the stock alloys with the stock 195/60/15 badyears.

Depends on what you want to do...
I run 32 / 30 ( front / rear) on the road, 38 / 34 on the track.
