The Kumho ECSTA Supra 712's are an EXCELLENT value. They perform very well in all respects (wet/dry braking, accel, cornering...all very good results IMHO), and you CANNOT beat the price. Treadwear has been very good so far...I think I've logged about 20k on them.
I think I paid $73/ea for 215/40/16's.
I will buy this tire again for sure.

im about to buy these tires also after hearing nothing but good things.....
any rubbing problems with the 215/40/16's. im currently running the nitto 205's but wanted to go to the kumho 215's.....

Kumhos are nice and cheap but I think their performance worth is way overrated IMHO.

How much would they be in 15's? I want a pretty low profile + good performance for cheap. what are my options? thanks

I have two sets of Kuhmo's Ecsta 712's.......15in. and 16 in. and they are great tires for the money. They hold up to all the abuse I can dish out http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

So what is the correct width tire for 16" rims? The Tire Rack has 215 listed, but I always thought it was 205 for my '90 G60?

215 should be fine on a stock rim, Hell I ahd a Honda, and they had (Don't laugh) 165/80r/13's and I wrapped them with 195/70/13's.
The added bonus is the tire will hang out a little further, which will prtect your rims lip up to a certain point. If ya really Granny curb check it, nothing will help.

That's because they're not an all-season tire. Everyone do yourselves a favor if you drive your C in snow, get a set of godd summer tires like the ones listed above, and a set of winter tires for the snow. Gives you the BEST performance in summer and winter.
