I bought my GTI via my company before I arrived in the states at the beginning of January. Now I have noticed there are lots of alternatives in the price bracket the 1.8t/V6 golf comes under, so if I replaced my car for the 2005 model year what should I get?
So get thinking boys and girls!

Re: WHAT TO REPLACE MY GTI? (S4TAN)

I'll be using it as an everyday car, driving upto northen jersey one/two times a week to visit family, and just a general car I can feel safe leaving most places. (can't do that in the porker)
Needs to have four seats but 3 doors is ok, prefer a hatch but sedan is good too. I suppose I would go upto $30k.
And needs to be nippy.

Re: WHAT TO REPLACE MY GTI? (S4TAN)

I would recommend:
1) Subaru Forester XT (very fast, and blends well into traffic)
2) Subaru WRX
3) Mitsubishi EVO (if you can find one under $30K-maybe used)

Hopefully this helps.
