[Hugh Gordon]

I have a 1.8t that I was running a t3 super 60 on, and I'm looking for something that will bolt onto the manifold and downpipe that I already have. I was thinking some kind of T3/T4, but which one will suit my needs the best? Thanks.

57trim , w/ .63 stg3 turbine should fit the bill

50 trim .48 or .63 AR should get you there and spool a bit faster imo

i ran a t3/4 57 trim, .63AR, stage3 turbonetics turbo on a 1.8L 8v
it would spool up @3900rpm, full boost by 4300rpm (22psi)
i got 313whp
keep in mind its a stock 8v motor, so you can easily make 350 on a 1.8T

I think I'll be sticking with Turbonetics, because I may have a local source that can supposedly get me "any" turbo for $350

. So I just need to figure out which one. I think the 57 trim sounds pretty nice.

700177-0023 aka GT3071R T3 flanged 63ar
or
700177-0010, 11, or 12 aka GT30R-10, 11 or 12 depending on your HP goals.
the 10 and 11s have a smaller turbine wheel and a less agressive compressor trim than the 12. They are commonly referred to as GT3076's by precision turbo and dealers, but those are the part #s for the chras.

Any of those setups would work pretty well for you

A T3/T4E 57 trim with a 48ar would be good too and they're cheap, or even a 50trim but they are a bit more pricey (100USD more). Garrett doesnt make an "out of the box" T3/T4E 50trim, thats why they are more expensive on some sites like AGP turbo.
