What type of gear oil in a auto trans for the ring & pinion ??? & how much fluid ?

the auto trans = automatic trans fluid
auto trans differential = 90 weight gear lube (I prefer synt mobil 1 gear lube 90w)

Stevelangford , Do you mean straight 90 weight gear lube. (and is it synt mobil 1 gear lube 75- 90wt )

you got it. and yes redline is also a great choice
mobil 1, redline, amsoil, etc all great synth oils.
