a prayer.....$4000 isn't much considering suspension or LSD to keep the wheels to the ground. Don't forget the upgrades will cost a lot then install if you don't do it yourself. Take your time and do it stepwise. If you haven't already learned the launch take a month or two at the drag strip to learn that part and go from there.

I'd say k04 or ko3 sport,Turbo inlet pipe, downpipe, dumptube after dp, dv valve, some decent suspension to get good 60' times, and programing for your new turbo. Should be possible for under two grand.IF you install everything yourself! I'm gonna find out soon.

ohh..and you'll need a lot of race gas cause you'll use up many gallons trying to better your driving.

There's got to be 30 different ways to get into 13s with these cars. If you just want a drag car, nitrous, boost controller and little airbags in your springs will do it. If you want to drive too, suspension and wheel/tire mods are a good start.
My advice is to spend the first $200 on trips to the drag strip. You can have a 13 second car and run 14.5's all day if you can't drive.

DaBlackJetta ran a 13.8 on drag radials, with an EVO intake, his beautiful exhaust by Forced Motion, and GIAC. 12's are a little harder.

GIAC chip, $500 wet nitrous kit, coilovers and a good driver.

BTW, I have a nitrous kit for sale...$400+ship (selling to get a stage 4 custom turbo upgrade).
