I'm thinking about selling my VR and getting into an NA MK4 Supra...what do you guys think I can get for my current whip?
it's a 96 Jetta GLX, tan leather, heated seats, sunroof, MK4 smoked lights, Kamei grill, GTI hood, H&R/Bilstein suspension, neuspeed strut bar, neuspeed hood lifters, K&N intake, TT exhaust, Rockford Fosgate CD player, 17" 5 spoke wheels from the '01 GTI VR6, it's windsor blue, has 70K...it runs perfect, have done all scheduled maintenance and not had any problems since i bought it at 40k...any estimates/offers? Thanks

honestly, youre better off putting the stock stuff back on and parting it out. youll get more that way.
if you arent interesting in doing that, id say about $8-9k maybe?

Unfortunately I traded my stock grill, hood, & lights to a kid with a GTI, and sold my stock wheels

Well I have been looking for a stock '96-'98 GLX. A '96 stock with your mileage will prolly go for about $10,000 maybe a little more, but with the mod's you won't quite as much, atleast from someone who is interested in VW's, because they usually want to do the mods themselves, so I think that if you get $8000 to $9500 you should take it. And if you are trading it it you will get much less.

If anyone wants to work out a trade for my kamei grill, MK4 lights, & golf hood as a package for their stock jetta (or golf/gti) stuff + $350 I'm game

I'll give you my stock headlights with good bulbs and 100$. Thats almost a 3rd of what you want
