What's so bad about the Rendezvous?

I really don't think that car looks so bad. It's not the greatest option out there if that's what you're looking for but you guys rag on it too much. I think if it weren't the Assteks cousin people wouldn't be so harsh.

I personally think it's uglier than the aztec. just doesn't look right to me.

I don't have anything against its mechanicals.

I dont like it that much, and while we're at it I think we need a rwd Regal with the s/c 3800

Hmm, 1 Regal, 1 wrecked Fbody for parts, a smaller blower pulley and some exhuast work

There's nothing wrong with the Rendezvous, per se, except that once you price the vehicle out with options, you're basically paying the same amount as either an Acura MDX or a Lexus RX300, both of which drive much better than the Buick and have more horsepower, not to mention have better resale and predicted reliability.
Personally, I think the Rendezvous is ugly. GM was too cheap to re-engineer the radiator to sit lower in the vehicle, which is why the front end has that blocky look to it. Even though the MDX is essentially an Oddessey underneath, Honda moved the radiator to give the MDX a sleeker look in the front.

But given the price you paid for a Rendervous, there are better buy out there. RX300, MDX to base X5 3.0i are better cars with better resale value.
