[VR6'n]

i have a GTI VR6 with a VORTECH s/c kit, chip, exuast. what would be the best brand cam and best Duration for my engine. i heard the lower the duration, the better since i have a s/c but i dont know

My friend has that charger and he has schrick 248's I think they are the best fot the vortech blower.....
DSR 256's are better for the Z-charger because they have a garrett chip that goes with this combo....

climbingcue wazup, i'm from NJ and silver VR6 too. Just got DSR 256 and VGI, not yet installed tho

, you have Schrick right? 268s? VGI? who did your instal

would you guys know what kind of improvements i could expect from GIAC chip written for Z SC, Schrick intake, and DSR256s?

AWE did my install, good job but way too much $$$$$$$$$$$$$$...... But I have someone that will do your cams, but I will have to ask them if they will do the schrick VGI too.....

Yo, I was thinking about AWE for the install, just because i want someone that is EXPERIENCE in bothe the cam and VGI install, AND i want a BEFORE-AFTER dyno run of the new mods.
I've also purchased all new engine mounts, spark plugs/wires, new gaskets, and new lifters( i am pretty sure my lifters are fine only got not even 50k miles on them, but since everything will be off, why not do it all at the same time???)
I'm from south jersey close to philly, AWE is asking $560 just for the cams, anyone of you know someone besides AWE that can install my new toys for cheaper??
