You already have low c/r pistons - So like I said, aba 3 layer or 9a 3 layer (if you can find it) will work for what you're trying to accomplish..

Yeap 3 layer metal ABA gasket has been working fine on my 16vTs for several years. 9:1 compression JEs, holds 15+psi no prob from my small t3/t4 40something compressor/.48/stage1 turbine all the way up to 18 so far from my sc61. Use ARP or similar head studs/nuts and you should be fine. There is also a 3 layer metal 16v gasket as was already mentioned, but ABA is readily available, cheap, and works.
