I heard of a gtg this saturday on the beach in Huntington
What is going on w/ this "winterfest" gathering??

They did this last year and had a pretty good turn out from what I here. The way I understand it is going to be from 11:00am to whenever at the magnolia street parking lot. This is right off PCH. I believe it costs $3.00 to park. I am looking foreward to it as I have a few new mods since last GTG.

I was thinking the same thing.. I've been to 4 socal gtg's and i have yet to see anyone roll up in a rocco.. I'm gonna see if I can clean mines up by this weekend

I got "my name is" name tags for everyone, so they can put their vortex name on a tag.

What time does this go to? I want to go, but I have a big bike ride planned in the morning, so I wouldn't be able to go till about 2 or 3. I haven't been on the vortex very long but it would be cool to hang at the beach and check out all the vw's

Actually you dont need a truck, as long as you get a hold of some Wooden Pallets and break them down youll be able to fit bout 2-3 in a car... ive done it before in my MK3 Jetta... i believe i put 2 in the trunk and 1 in the back seat
