I currently drive a 2000 Toyota Tacoma and do ALOT of highway miles. I remember two years back when it was brand new.....it didn't take too long for the windshield to get all pitted up. Highway driving can chew up a new windshield fast.

Mine's two years old and when the light hits it right all the pits give of light like they are stars in the Milky Way. Last week I got a nice 8" crack in it too. I'll be replacing it in the spring. At least that way I can get through one summer unpitted. I'm not sure what's worse: all the gravel on the road or all the dump trucks.
