Figured would be nice to showcase the wheel options/fitment for the MK8 Golf / GTI / R

Please make sure to include:
Wheel (brand & model), wheel specs (size, width, offset), tire size (brand/model), suspension & any alignment adjustments (if applicable), any rubbing?

Example: BBS LM, 19x9 ET42, Michelin Pilot Super Sport 245/35/19, lowering springs & stock alignments

I like that the first two post both are Neuspeed.

I love the RSE10 it really matches the MK8's sharp design.

Took my stock 19x8 Autobahn wheels off along with summer tires 3 weeks after I got the car in January. Replaced them with a set of VR Forged D03-R 18x8.5 wheels and 245/40/18 Michelin Cross Climate 2 all season tires. Wheels have a 44mm offset and a 66.5 bore. So I had to get a hub ring in order to get it to 57.1. No rubbing what so ever. These wheels will not fit with a Brembo BBK and a APR Racing BBK. However they will fit with a Stop Tech BBK. In one of the pictures it looks like the front wheels are flush which they are not. I will most likely be ordering a set of summer tires within 2 weeks. At the moment I running stock springs and stock alignment.

Good thing the wheels arent flush. I have a set of Audi TTRS front lower control arms on order with the solid rubber RS3 bushings ( the Audi part # I ordered already comes with the solid rubber RS3 bushings. Another part # comes with the TTRS slotted solid rubber bushings. Those TTRS LCAs cost a little less) From what Ive read the TTRS LCA's have a slightly wider track than the OEM VW control arms. Guys posted they had some rubbing issues if their wheels were flush. In addition to all the other parts in my garage, I have a set of Racingline lowering springs waiting to be installed. Plus a Whiteline KCA472 front roll center camber correction kit since the car will be lowered. Racingline states that their springs lower the car 20-25mm. I think it will be more. Ive seen some GTIs with Racingline springs measure 20-25mm lower. And some that were 30-40mm lower. Im not sure how that happened. If anyone here can explain why this happened or how it can happen Id love to hear it.

My only concern is whether or not the Whiteline front roll center kit will fit onto the TTRS LCA's Some forum members wrote the Whiteline parts didnt fit properly over the TTRS LCA's because the holes on the Whiteline kit didnt line up perfectly with the TTRS LCA's. I saw 2 or 3 posts where forum members posted pics showing the holes didnt line up. But those posts were from 2019. Maybe Whiteline corrected the fitment issue with the holes not lining up properly with the TTRS LCAs. The reason I wrote maybe Whiteline corrected the issue is because when I went on Whitelines website and looked up their fitment guide. They showed that their part fit the TTRS LCA's. I sent Whiteline an email Friday about the fitment issue and waiting to hear back from them. Worst case scenario I could return these Whiteline parts and order the TTRS ball joints.

Hey Chuck, the brakes are from R/Clubsport or you changed the discs only?

18" BBS CO ET44 with 235/40 Goodyear Eagle summer tires which were a smoking deal from discount tire ... Would love to put some springs on the car, but the roads are awful by me.. makes for a difficult decision.

How did you add red trim along the top of the headlight cluster? That’s a big miss on stock US cars.

These are hyper black. The color depends on the angle and lighting and if there is any brake dust.
