is it necessary to do a throttle body alignment, what happens if you dont, dont get full power??? i dont think mine was set right, i drove another chipped car and it seemed "different" like it was just peppier or something, i have GIAC, that was apr, pretty much the same, i know giac is more "touchy" but i dont know. should i redo the TBA?? how do i do it?

Another way to do a TB alignment after you chip is to keep your door open , turn the ingnition to the on position, and leave it on for 2minutes, turn ignition off wait 2 minutes, then start engine without touching the gas pedal and idle for 2 minutes.

That door open sound is a fuel pump primer.
I've done VAG-tool and APR chip TBA's and there is no sound. But after it's done, the alignment readings are different...so I know it happened.
