He buys stupid crap like this...

But I got the 5 panel 30" long one.
Dont ask me why.
My question is...
1) who wants to buy it?
2) how do I remove my stock rear view mirror (attached to headliner)

it's a Wink 3 pane mirror. Used in racing to see what's all around behind you

i had one of those on my old a1 gti and my a2 vr6 and loved them. now i can't drive, i'm always nervous that someones in my blind spot. even though there cheesy as hell, they work awesome. when attaching mirror try to line up brackets w/ the screws @ the top of the pillar moldings. use those screws, this way you don't have to make any drillings into your headliner or car for that matter.

I second that! I had a 4-panel in my 93 Passat and absolutely LOVED it! No blind spots at all. I could see part way out of both front windows with the thing. I did have to use 2 windshield mount kits for proper mounting though...
That reminds me.. I need to order one for my Jetta coupe.

Dieder: In Jettas to remove the mirror, you basically just pull. You might have to wiggle it some as it's in there tight. I can't remember if you have to pull and twist backwards or something like that and it's too late to look.
