well i dont know what to tell you...
i know if i am warming up my car (say in the middle of the day) and i come back into the garage (usually hot in there) my fan will kick on. or if i turn the air conditioner on the fan will automatically kick on. maybe try turning on your a/c. if that doesnt work than i dont know. my fan usually stays on for about 45sec to a minute after i shut my car off also.
