When I turn my wheel to the right I get a ticking noise?

From the drivers side front tire? It sounds like a nail in the tire, but there is no nail???? What can I look for when I jack the car?

Oh yeah! When I turn the wheel to the left, I don't hear it as much

But when my buddies cv joint went, it was more like a clunking noise? It even happens when i drive straight. But it is a little ticking noise that can hardly hear?

Maybe you just have a torn boot or something or it could be the start of the clunking noise.

I had a problem like that on my car, turns out one of the sway bar links was going. Also could be part of the axle.
