Hi! I've had a 2001 VW Jetta Wolfsburg Edition since August (6 months now), and have driven it only 2,500 miles. Do I need to get it serviced only at 5,000 miles or the fact that I have had it for 6 months necessitates me to get it serviced now?

5000 miles. but, if you go 12 months w/o going over 5000 , you should get it serviced. it says so in the manual. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
