I don't think they make L.E.D. tailights for the Jetta unless it is a custom job (pain in the arse). I know that FK actually made some alteeza looking lights for it a while back and I think they still have them on their site. But alot of people on here dont like them. But do as you want cuz its your car

Re: WHERE CAN I GET A REAR LED KIT? (ALPHAQGTI)

Really, I'd stay away from that style of LED bulb. When you just have the majority of the lights going outward, you get the 'dot' look inside your housing.
I just converted all the exterior lighting, except headlights of course, to LEDs on my 94 Jetta. Changed out the relay to one that is LED friendly to. If you don't, you get the always fun hyper flashing turn signals! Or you can install load resisters if you are only doing one or two lights, but they get expensive compared to just swapping out the relay.
I basically went around the car and wrote downt he bulb types, then searched companies on ebay. I'd just type in the bulb number, then led,(i.e. 1157 led). Then from the results, I'd look at the design of the bulb. The style that I got look like little towers. they have most of the lights pointing sideways towards the reflectors, so the housings will light up nice and bright.

I probably have around $100 in all the bulbs and the relay. Just keep in mind that you will get what you pay for!!
Here is an example.. Look for the ones labeled 'wide viewing angle'.

PM me if I can be any more help.
