I checked germanautoparts.com, but the earliest they have is for the Mk2. I need a window regulator for a Mk1 2dr Jetta.
The window ****-eyes when going up and down. I am sure it's a worn track.

Have you tried to lube the window regulator? The assembly can be taken apart, cleaned, and relubed.
I have done this maintenance on every Rabbit that I owned, and it made a world of difference.

Yes, I have done it before .. and on my Dodge GLH as well .. there is just too much wear on the track ..

If the window is rolling up on an angle it's not your regulator but the rubber along the edge of the door. If you lookat yours you'll probably noticed that it is worn and possibly even worn right through. If this is the case IM me and I'll send you my spare one for like $2 + shipping

i also have some spare regulators laying around. i do it for the same price + shipping. im in the states so it might be cheaper

also check to make sure that the seat for the glass isn't rotted out that happened on my '82 and it binded like crazy
