Re: Where is the power window module located?? need quick answer. (CorradoFANATIC)

Well, the motor is located behind the rear door card on the driver's side. I would assume you get to it by simply pulling off the door card in the rear, but I have never done it.

yup the power window control modual is behind the drivers side rear passenger panel, just remove the screw in the lower right (as you look at it) , the screw that holds the plastic seat belt guide(upper left), and the couple of plastic screws at the wheel well curved area. Then just pry the panel off.

Re: Where is the power window module located?? need quick answer. (cramer)

Thanks guys, I found it.
I have this battery drain, turns out it's the power widow module.
It wont shut off, even if I remove the key from the ignition and oper the door.
I tried cutting the brown/white wires so that it would only work with the key in the ignition, but it would still work without the key.
So it must be a relay in the module that turns on and get stuck on or something.
I disconnected the module, and now I don't have the battery drain, but no power windows either.

The power window controller turns off with a ground to the Brown/White wire. Its "tells" the controller that the door is opened, and acessory power is removed. These toys have a nice off key power!
Check mouse belt relays, they love to stick.
