I want to get my 2.5 SS TT exhaust. Someone sent me a sweet @$$ photo. Nice tip filled the 4motion area. Nice wide oval, like what was on the corrado, but polished for you old school dubbers you will know what I am talking about. (Leistritz exhaust looking tip).
Anyway, I need the 4motion valence so when I get the exhaust installed it fits nice and flush factory look. Not haning low. I will be lowering the car eibach pro-kit 1.25 drop.
Where can I buy the rear valence and how much thanks. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Try doing a search for the username KOMET155. He sells a lot of 4-motion valences. That is where I got mine from and it was a smooth transaction. I recommend him http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Hey your the guy I was talking about. Nice set up x 2. You should post your car. I bet a lot more people will go with tt and 4motion rear valence.

Re: Where to buy 4motion rear valence (focal)

part#: 1J5-807-521-A-B41
they call it rear bumper spoiler.
price: the lowest price I found is $64 (tax included) from a dealer in Glendale, CA. Other dealer might charge you different depends on how crazy they are.

Thanks redGLS.....I called VW....NO PARTS IN the whole north america....
FYI you quoted the wrong part number...that's the one with a CLOSED valences (1999-2001)... the 4-motion type one with an exhaust opening is 1J5-807-521-D-B41
The D is the change.....price here in Canada is listed as $81.75CDN

Any body know the part # for the front 4motion Valence. And could you show some pics of the front and rear valence painted, prefer tornado red. If not its fine.

An important thing to realize about the 2002 rear valence with cut out is that it does not have any cut out for the tow ring. I believe the new cars have a revised tow ring which hangs lower than before.

yep, i called New Century about 2 or 3 weeks ago about the new valences with the exhaust cutout. it was a little frustrating at first, because the parts guy had no idea what i was talking about. they don't call it a valence, i guess. anyway, he told me that the part wasn't available yet (it was in their computers, but they had no price or stock), and to check again in "a month or two." i'm still waiting for my front 4-Mo valence to come in, so i'm gonna check back with them in a few weeks. the parts guy also told me that it should be about the same price as the regular valence, which is a little over $60. as for the tow hook, the 4-Mo valence needs to be cut to fit the tow hook as well, so there's really no design advantage to using either one (as far as i know).

focal: thanks for the correction

quote:

I am getting a magnaflow exhaust installed. Do it look better with a 4 motion rear valence?

If you don't modify the piping, I don't think it'll look good. Because magnaflow are meant to fit original valence.
I'm planning to put a 4 motion valence preety soon, and custom made the piping of my magnaflow so the tips will fit to 4 motion valence.
I'll post some pics as soon as I get it done.
