I just rode in a car with an Upsolute chip over the weekend and it is awesome!! Definitely a mandatory mod. I also got to hear a Beetle TDi with the muffler cut off, and it sounded great! No louder than stock, but you could here the turbo whine when the car was started and it had a little deeper sound, too. These are the next two things on my list of things to do.

California has no (Biennial Smog Check) emissions for Diesels.

this, the CCV mod, and the unmentionable mod, are the only other things i am going to do to my car now..
the extra power i already have is enough.. these are just to keep it clean..
actually.. putting in the wheel well vent mod is something i am going to do, but not till it gets warmer..
