with all the talk of this tape I finally figured a should go get some, as i plan on doing some badge modding.
so the question is...where do you get this tape. apparently any hardware store or Walmart would have it, but in which department. I spent 1/2 an hour looking for it in walmart, and coudn't find it.
and being a guy that never asks for directions when lost, why should i start now when looking for tape

so in which dept would one find (i.e automotive, household, paint, etc..0)? where?
any advise would be appreciated.

Re: Where to get 3M double sided tape? (Apocrates)

i can't remember clearly, but i think it was 3 to 4 bucks. Just ask anyone at Home Depot they will point you to it (commonly used item around the home). I found it on a rack on the front of the store with all kinds of tapes. It wasn't really in any "aisle" since it can be used for so many purposes.

Just be careful! Once you put that thing on it's a BITCH to remove. It sticks really well
. After all, it's the same stuff you can mount hangers and heavy duty stuff OUTDOORS with. There's still some room for you to maneuver right after you put them on lightly, but give it a couple of hours after putting them on firmly, forget about taking them off without a fight

i still retain a bit of anonimity on the web, so no one really knows what the idiot behind the posts really looks like http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
