Hey guys...
I'm looking to teach a couple of friends how to drive a manual...except i am not willing to do it on my STi...not until they have learned the basics elsewhere. Do any of you guys know where i might be able to get a cheap rental that provides manual...i don't know of any off hand.
thanks, Ghost

You might find a stick in one of those really budgety rental places that rent like '80s Cavaliers and old Blazers and stuff like that. There's one in WA called Ugly Duckling Rent-a-car...

Although if its your first trip to England, I wouldn't recommend it.
You'll thank me when you save yourself from crashing into someone on a roundabout after you tried to shift to third with the door handle.
as for rentals here, the cheap rental places that aren't one of the big chains would be ur best bet.

What about exotic rent-a-car places that rent Porsche's, Ferrari's and stuff like that. For a few hundred bucks they could be smokin' a genuine german or italian clutch
