who has the best price on 268 cams? i found 262's on here for 230 plus 15 shipping. but i wanna go up to a 268 for typical reasons...

I think denon sells schricks for the cheapest. Otherwise, ebay, or the classifieds for used ones.

New are maybe $550+ . Difference in power , ~5whp maybe? Check the archives for the autotech 262 comparison dyno.

ok and now, how bad is the loss down low in the revs/power band, and where do they really start pulling from?
and also, i have seen/found sets that are mixed with a different cam on each side. whats this good for?

There are currently a lot of good threads discussing 262s among other cams. Do a search. As far as the 262s go, I had no bottom end loss and they start pulling around 3700rpms.
