of course i want mercedes - " the best car in the world", but as cheap as possible since budget is limited. C180 suite my budget best. i want luxury but have not enough money.. so c180 hands down http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

My limited budget wouldn´t be sufficient to buy any of the cars.

A friend of mine has a Golf SDI as a company. He´s quite happy with it (although he alrady suffered the infamous window regulator problem).

A4 1.6 actually saves you lots of speeding tickets, just like many other heavy/small engined cars.

If I´d go for a 100hp A4, I´d rather choose the TDI over the 1.6.
Mercedes is introducing new entry level models for the C-Class with switching to direct injection gassers this summer:
C180 K - 1.8l 143hp
C200 K - 1.8l 163hp
C230 K - 1.8l 192hp

erm, none of those.
If we're talking brand new, I'd head down to my friendly Chrysler/Dodge dealer and pick up a Neon ACR (msrp $14380) or the Ford dealer and get an Escort ZX2 (msrp $12700).
Cheap doesn't have to mean bland.

If I "dont have much money to spend" I'd get an mid 80's Golf, Jetta or Passat or maybe Audi 80 for somewhere between $500-1000. At least not an Audi A4 1.6 or Benz C180. Those cars are expensive as hell here

A140 "Classic" taxi trim has to be the lowest entry into the "prestigous" Mercedes ownership experience.
