you could post more details about your preferences, your likes and dislikes. this poll, as it is, is useless.
For example, if you have budget of $22,500 out the door, the Mazdaspeed 3 has a lot to offer, but if cost is no object, a fully loaded 5-door gti would rock. Also, do you care about turbos? ... come on....

Better in every way?
Its not better on an autocross course. (the Civic SI faster)
It doesn't have an LSD (The Civic SI does)

Definatly get the GTI, much better car in every way, and it just happends to be German what a suprise. The others are glorified commuter cars.

without knowing your requirements it is impossible to answer that question.
The GTI is the most refined all round of the three, the Honda probably handles a tad better and the Mazda is great bang for the buck - but neither is as refined as the GTI.
What are you looking for in a car?

Hmmm... the GTI has a higher skidpad rating (.88 vs .87) and a quicker 0-40 (3.4 vs. 3.7) and a faster slalom speed (67.2 vs 66.8)
Not that the Honda is a bad car, but I'm not sure why the Honda would be faster in a autocross course

That being said, they are close enough in stats, that driver would easily make the difference...

The numbers I quote above come from a recent shootout
