FYI: position #12 is for the rear fogs...

its a north american headlight switch, not a euro one. and i am connecting up my rear fogs. so does this mean there is a wiring problem somewhere?

I guess I am not understanding what you are trying to do...could you please clarify.
#12 has no wire in it because the euro switches 2nd pull goes to that wire for the rear fogs. The US switch has no 2nd pull and no way to activate the rear fog.

okay, sorry for the confusion. i have a us headlight switch with the foglight pull, but i have no front foglights(nor do i want them). i do however want the rear foglight, but i am not a big fan of the euro switch. i am trying to get the rear foglight to come on as if i were turning the front fogs on

I would pop a relay into the open positon on the panel under the dash, then use a 12v test light to probe each of the wires on the harness. they're like 5 bucks at Radio Shack.
The one you want will definitely have a wire in it. This is because all the cars are prewired for fogs up to the main lighting harness in the front of the car. Tap/splice into what ever wire you find is the correct one.
Good luck. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

thanks bro. i think the problem might be that there is no fuse for a foglight, since originally, there was no foglights(GL). so ill toss one in, and well see.

Well, you'll need either a relay or a jumper. I'd just use a relay since you can pick one up when you buy the test light for another 5 bucks.
