Re: Which springs to get? (01VR6)

I'm looking at the Eibach Pro-Kits for $225 on Tirerack that say they lower the car 1.2" front, 1.2" rear, since I don't want to go too low. I'm kinda waiting to see what suspension George of VW Vortex chooses for Project 1.8T so I can see how it looks and ask him questions.
VW's Driver Gear site has a sport suspension for about $256 that are Eibachs too so I wonder if they're the same. I'm leaning towards these as they have a more OEM feel, but if these Eibachs are the same ones, I'll go to Tirerack. I think H&R's are German so those are probably good too.
I just want to know how much installation will be.

George mentioned in this thread that he's installing Jetta sport suspension shocks and springs. Makes sense with the whole OEM deal going on with that project. I'm also using the project Golf as a basis for my car but for suspension I'm looking at Eibach as I do want a bit of a drop.

Have you tried calling Wolfsport in Berkeley? They are also called German Auto Salvage. 510-525-6000. Ask for Bruce and tell him Andre referred you. If he still doesn't know who I am, tell him the guy with the red 2001 GTI VR6
. They are good guys there and perhaps we can turn them into an mkIV friendly shop!
