Ok...I just want to ask...and before you all start a flame war, I'm not doing this because I hate anyone, I just want to know how many of you have actually earned the money you put into your cars, or is it from another source? I.E. Parents, Inherit, Stockmarket

, you know other then a regular 9-5 job. I only ask, because of the post the other day about how old everyone is, and then realizing that most of you are just old enough to drink

I work full time (same job for almost 3yrs), and I dont pay for my mods.
I pay for the credit cards that paid for my mods.
Im still payin for stuff from my last car, and this car is no different.
the cards are gettin paid off, but i had to get control of spendings first.
but yeah, i didnt get anything handed to me.
except my winter rat for $300

I guess I should say before this gets out of hand, that I have paid for very thing I put on my car, throught 10 years in the USAF

I didn't buy my car, my grandpa did. Now when he bought it he asked me to pay him back with monthly payments and i had no problem with that. Shortly after he bought it he died of cancer and left me the car. There's my story for the evening.

Now to answer your question: The car was bought for me, but I pay for all the mods!

I pay for it all......... one income in this household of four.... that is why I own an 8v and not a VR6!!!! But I wouldn't trade it for the world

Yeah, I figured since I didn't have any rich family/relatives, I'd dig my own hole and get a $9k loan for my car. And then instead of paying off the rest of my old car, I just dumped that into the new one

Oh well, it'll all be paid off in due time!

I pay for all my mods, except stuff I recieve as presents for xmas, birthday. I've paid for everything listed in my sig, biggest present will be new Clarion minidisc HU this xmas. I'm a high school student, worked over the summer, used to have a one-day-a-week job at $7.50/hr, but quit in favor of spending time applying to college. Not having an income sucks tho, so I've been doing some ebay selling recently

I work two parttime jobs(50 hrs a week) plus I am a full time student. I am 20, and live with my girlfriend.

My previous car(1993 Mazda Mx3) was paid for partially by my parents for a graduation present The car was $6000 they paid $2200. I paid the rest. Then I took the five g's from selling it and used it as a down payment on the $10,000 GL. But I really dont get stuff for xmas and christmas from parents. My mom is getting me a intake while dad is getting me a chip. My GF bought me rims for it. Wow this getting long.!! Basically I buy my stuff.

All work here.....i'll be paying forever but I pay for it

The mods, all 9k or so of them on top of that have not been from anyone but me, its has been a long process in only a little over 2 years, and since no one else brought it up, its also why i wear the same shoes ever since i bought the car jk

But honestly it does limit alot i can go out to do, and can't do......that end of it sucks, but whenever i get pissed im now poor, i just fire up the VR6 and go romp some hondas or domestics to relieve my sorrows

earned mine...worked summer internships to just to have enough in the bank to pay off my car loans and rent during the school year (unemployed college student)

i work full time and all the $ goes towards
2 kids, 2 car payment & tons of bills
whats left goes into the car.. or whatever parts i sell
gets put into new stuff
im in line for a new job tho and if all goes thru - MUCH
more $ goes into the car

I go to college full-time and deliver pizzas 20+ hrs a week. Tips buy my mods. Next purchase: Exhaust!
