Re: who has converted digi2 harness to digi1? (I Wuz BottlFedG60)

I'm converting the digi2 harness to digi1. The instructions seem to conflict when moving the existing pin21 on the harness.

hay man its a harness . with wires.
If you think of it that way, it can be anything your little heart desires.
IF you want someone to walk you thru it, or do it for ya, i suggest you buy a digi-1 harness, because you probably don't have the skills to:
1. get the diagram out of your digi-2 bentley
2. get the diagram for the digi-1
3. delta the differences in pinouts, including any year model changes
4. make the changes.
It's not handed to ya on a silver platter, because between 88 and 92 there were changes in digi-2 , and between 89 and 92 there were changes in digi-1, so unless someone wants to bust out all possible combinations and document it, you gotta make a choice.
It's no more than EE 101, pushing/pulling pins, relocating wires, soldering, etc. But then again, some peeps are better mechanics than electricians.
For the price $75 or so i'd just buy a nice harness lol.
then go out get some pizza and not worry about it.
For those who are truly intersted. Convert digi-2 to digi-1, i can validate they are good i spose with digilogger, and umm you could sell them to the rest of the folks for profit.

I finally did it, BUT, first study both diagrams especially the conversion from the afm wires to the co-pot and it will all make sense.. I went ahead and got a G-60 harness in the end and broke it out of the sheath and you wouldn't believe how simple the wiring is once you delete the extra stuff you dont need...
