Every month or so someone posts about a GTG way up north, and I would be down for the drive... but nothing ever happens

That would be cool in about a month. Car is getting the full redo and wont get it back till mid August.

I would be interested whenever you decide to have one. I just need a little lead time to get time of from work. I live in Arcata now, but visit red bluff about every three weeks.
If I can help in any way let me know. Maybe even have it in Red bluff, there is a nice place down by the river, either the river park or near the dam.
They have a group campground at the dam....I think its $150 for the night for upto 50 people. Would be cheap and everyone can bunk in the cabins, maybe make it a two day event so no one has to drive home late at night? Maybe a GTG and little car show on day 1....and a drive (like 299/44/36 or the likes) on day 2?
I say lets make this happen!!
