Well service isn't an issue her dad is an accomplished DYI mechanic...not mention there's always me (OH GOD NO DON'T TOUCH MY CAR!!!!)
And for thirds I am a VIP at the local dealer don't ask me why I get 20% all parts and got an extra 1000 knocked off my gf's GTI when she bought it.

I agree she'd have alot less trouble buying parts & thing for a honda..I had mine built & show ready & less than 6 months, wereas my Dub has taken 2.5 years & Im not even close to done...but thats part of the fun
Yeah Im into a little performance, but Im not gonna be adding a turbo or anything extreme to my car anytime soon

just look at the power ratio. hp/tq. Also, mods arent cheaper for honda's. Do some shopping! Mods are alot easier to be put on VW example most hondas' you have to send in your ecu to have the chip soddered in for bout two hundred. VW spend $100 for 10-18hp and you can install it in fifteen minutes. Doesnt take a genius. VW offers more. Example heated seats (cold weather package), seats recline and go up and down, you can fit three bodies in the back of a jetta, one touch powered windows, not to mention all the hidden secrets VW offers like you can still move the windows when you take the key out (powered ofcourse) AND JUST SHOW HER HOW TO OPEN THE WINDOWS WITH A KEY! I love that feature. VW chicks are awesome. My wife drove my car one time and told me how she beat these chicks in a civic by two car lengths. VW chicks are more fun. In the fast and the fur show here how a 2.0 jetta can almost beat a s2000. LMAO sorry couldnt resist. If you want pics just look at the top ten vortex car post. Or do a search. here is my 97 jetta. nothign too wild yet. i have header,intake,exhaust,268 cam,camgear chip. weitec coils and some 17 in tsw (which will be gone soon.) no exterior mods yet. still waiting on carbon fiber golf hood, and corrado spoiler.
