Gee, I bet somehow, some way you could get a heated Touareg wheel to work.

Somehow, I don't think the price and effort would be worth it for that one cold month in Florida.

great idea. I would recommend you pursue this via VW. Maybe there is something in it for you. I would love to have that option. I am really beginning to appreciate the heat seats now that it is much colder. Great idea.

The idea sounds good in theory but all that current going through the contact plate on the steering column with only tabs to conduct it, could be done I guess.
Besides you people in Florida are lucky us northerners are even speaking to you

i would personally like to have airconditioned seats as well as heated.

You need to get a bmw or mercedes for the airconditioned seats I dont know which series it starts at but i know the upper series have em, hopefully volkswagen will have all the options the beamers have since they are trying to move up into the bmw class

Heated steering wheels are ment for RVs. Don't confuse a VW with a RV.
Try aiming the 'face' air vents at your perfered hand position (ie 10 & 2, 9 & 3, 12 & 6) and turn on the heat.
