mine is in the shop right now for the same reason. i've had the problem since the car was lowered. so something during the suspension work has caused my steering to be off. for the bashers!!! my car is aligned... have had VW confirm the alignment so the issue is definitly suspension/steering related. i have a hard time believing it could be brake related... but YOU NEVER KNOW!!!!!!!!

dude any update on this thread? i didn't find anything out... they claim they want to re-examine the alignment and i know for a fact it isn't the alignment. steering wheel has too much play for it to be an alignment issue.
