I can pickup a 2.5" system off the shelf however my DP is 3" - just curious if anyones done a 3" complete system

im not familiar with your car, but why do you need a 3" system?

DP is 3" from the turbo - just curious car in pieces at the moment, long way to go before she runs - just one of the to-do's

3" on a mk1....never seen one personally that wasn't side exit.
I know a guy with a CIS Turbo 8V with a 3" exhaust on a 70's Audi Fox though...still a tight fit

Sure, did think about the side exit - might run the WG to run out behind the front wheel arch - might plumb into the DP.

I tried to run 3 inch over my axle but i gave up and dumped it out the side.

I build a 3" over the axle system for my turbo mk1
The brackets ended up being different than the tube one you see there now but otherwise fits very well

what would a 3" side exit turbo back sound like? its got to be extremely loud.

Second thoughts... thats a nice system.... SELL ME IT - I'll take care of the fabing on the DP for my BT setup but thats a nice system man...

WOW...3" setup for a mk1...cool.
Only question...have ny of you guys driven em for a while...and on a lowered car?
I have the 2.5" on my mk1 jetta and when I had it running 60mm drop springs I got a fair amount of vibration from it hitting the axles beam

along these same lines, i am going to run full 3" all the way. one thing that will help is to ditch the stock fuel tank and go fuel cell. this is how i am going to accomplish this. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
