hey sorry guys did a search on this and it didnt turn anything up for me. i am looking into buying a new cover panle for my 03 gti. it is the cover that goes around the door lock buttons and window switches. the guy i am looking to buy from says it does not seporate from the door panle. i find it hard to beleive but i am new to the mkIv world just let me know thanks

Ahh... no.
That cover panel that contains the switches DOES remove from the door card.
