Well, it will help in that it will prevent your spider gears from launching through your gear case, but for drag racing I think the LSD made it harder too launch. Granted, I can now roast both of my front tires but I got more wheel hop after adding it. I talked to whizbang1.8T and he said the same thing. It's awesome on the road course though. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif My guess is that the added traction just makes the wheel hop worse. Still, I wouldn't be without the Quaife or Pelo in your case. I was getting 2.1sec. 60fts with an open diff and rolling on 18s. Now I'll have to go back to the strip to see what I can do. Maybe I am faster out of the hole, its just that the added wheel hop bothers me.

but they are right...the LSD will help more with road coarses than it will with drag racing. although your stock diff would probably bust after too much hard launching..especially with a Stage 3 kit.

I love mine, and don't think it is harder to launch necessarily, you just have to launch higher in the RPM range. I love it, you can launch harder, corner harder, and go faster. Very nice mod, I'll never be without one.
