I would like to find out if any dealers in North America will sell the front fog light assembly including the grill. I can't buy it aftermarket, VW are very tight about selling it overseas. See I live in Australia but if I can get in through the back door, like in the US, I'll buy direct from the dealer.
So if someone would like to do a favour, if there is a dealer who would be happy to sell the kit to me, please post an email contact. Thanks.

If you have a 2001 Passat I think its the same as a 1999 or 2000. The 2001.5 Grills with fog do not fit the 2001 passat. But there are a lot of after aamrkets fogs with grills that you can buy. Like the Votexx fogs, vestatec. There was a group buy recently on clubb5.com. Go to the group buys section.

You can IM/mail Cullen. He knows everything there is to know about lights, and I suspect he has some good connections in the VW business.

Thanks sameero but those fogs will not go into the current model Passat.
Orjan I sent a message to Cullen, see what he comes up with.

How come you can't get'em through the dealer? Are fogs illegal in Australia?

I didn't get fogs on my car, Bi-xenons puts out all the light I need

No there not illegal. Its the way VW packaged the car for sale in the Australian market. They didn't include fog lights, beats me why not. I just want them because they look cool. I am determined to get them what ever it takes.
