Re: Will the 2007 Rabbit actually have a Rabbit nameplate? (Blue Golfer)

I would bet they stick with the running bunny badge. Then again, I couldn't believe they changed the name from Golf to Rabbit. I really didn't like the name change.
Still bought one.

Re: Will the 2007 Rabbit actually have a Rabbit nameplate? (gizmopop)

From what the sales manager and salesman (who is a member on here) said the Rabbit emblem was just a last minute add-on at the ports when they arrived. They were origonally labled Golfs like in Europe but at the Port inspections they change the badge to Rabbits for the American market. . .
If they keep with the rabbit thing then they might or might not make a 'Rabbit' name badge.

My BEETLE badge is the only one I have ever seen.

It's made from BORA, JETTA, JETTA, GOLF
Do they even call the MKV Jettas Boras over in the UK?

the mkV's are jettas in uk.
and isnt it true that the bug/beetle name wasnt an actual name given to it? wasnt it just its running nickname and eventually just got called that for good?
hence the reason its never had a badge.
