No climatronic and we're not sure on the MFA (but not likely since no other 1.8T Golf or Jetta models get it).

But, if I had to guess, it will probably have ESP since the NB Turbo S, with the same powertrain, has it.

IMHO, Climatronic is the worst heat/ac control system I have
ever used. I've been suffering with it for 3 years.
And don't tell me to set it and forget it: it
frequently does the wrong thing. Like when you start out
on a cold morning, and it blows cold air on you until
it warms up, and on a sunny cool afternoon, when you
get in and it's all warm and toasty inside from the sun,
and you start up the car, and the AC starts blowing cold
air on you.
And what an ergonomic nightmare: all those tiny buttons
way down there (and it doesn't even have an OFF button.
Let's be happy the DE won't have it!

MFA is that little screen between the tach and speedo in red dot matrix that tells the temp, avg. fuel, you probably have one...

Climatronic won't be coming on the DE GTI. They will be regular manual controls.

It will be a heating and air conditioning system just like all existing Volkswagens with manual knobs for adjustments. The automatic and electronic Climatronic system that was standard on the 25th Anniversary GTI is not coming on the DE GTI.
