I searched, and I read all of the threads in the Cabrio forum, plus quite a few in other forums.

So, passenger window would not go down.
I could hear a click when I used the switch.

I pulled the regulator and disassembled it and tested the motor directly with 12VDC, it works.
The physical regulator cables etc are all fine.

Is there a way to bench test the regulator via the plug...like a pinout diagram?
I am suspecting the circuit board may be faulty, but I am unsure how to test it properly.

Any help would be gladly accepted.

Right, I got farther than that.
I tested the motor and its fine, direct 12VDC and it works.
I removed the circuit board.
Now I want to test the circuit board.

My question is regarding the circuit board which I guess is the regulator.
If I could find a pinout diagram for the plug that connects to this I bet I could test it to figure out what the problem seems to be.
It may be a cheaper way to fix what seems to be a re-occuring problem.

It may just be a relay that gets blown out, but I dont want to randomly test the pins for fear I will blow it out anyways...

I am tempted to just wire around the regulator all together with a new relay.
The only issue with that is safety....like stopping the window when a hand gets in the way etc..
