Windshield Washer Nozzle Removal

Hey everyone, I'm not sure if i'm in the right group or what, but anyways heres my situation.
I have a 97 Passat GLX VR6. I'm trying to get my windshield washer nozzles (shooters) out of the hood of my car. They are not moving! I've pushed and pulled and wiggled, but those babies are in there tight. (the reason i need them out is for a little cosmetic upgrade, if things go well, i'll post some pics) If ANYONE can help me whatsoever, please drop me a line i will be forever gratefull.
P.S. i do have the winter package, so the nozzles are heated - if that means anything, who knows-
